Tape2Tailor makes clothing to your measurements. To do that we need some personal information. Here is what we collect, why, and who sees it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and (optionally) phone number, and a password that we store only in scrambled form.
- Delivery addresses you give us when you order.
- Your measurements and fit preferences: including height and how you like clothes to fit. This is the core of what we need to make your garments.
- Order history: what you ordered, how it was priced, and its progress.
- Reviews you choose to write. They show your first name and last initial.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us, and we never see or store your full card number. We keep a reference to the payment so we can match it to your order and refund it if needed.
Who sees what
- Our team can see your orders and measurements so they can check them before anything is cut.
- A tailor, if you book one, sees your first name, what you are being measured for and the measurements they take. They do not see prices or payment details.
- The workshop that makes your order sees what to make, your confirmed measurements and the delivery address. They do not see your email address or any payment details.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you signed in and a small amount of browser storage to remember your cart. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your choices
You can change your password at any time from your account page. You can ask us to correct or delete your information; some order records must be kept for accounting and legal reasons. Tell us what you would like changed using the contact details we give you at checkout and in your order emails.
